A pouch of 500 gm. The cumin, or comino, “seeds” are actually dry fruits known as schizocarps. They are thin yellowish brown elongated ovals about 6 mm (0.25 inch) long. Each features five prominent longitudinal dorsal ridges interspersed with less-distinctive secondary ridges forming a tiny gridlike pattern.بذور الكمون أو الكومينو هي في الواقع فواكه جافة تُعرف باسم شيزوكاربس. وهي عبارة عن أشكال بيضاوية رفيعة ذات لون بني مصفر طولها حوالي 6 مم . يتميز كل منها بخمس حواف ظهرية طولية بارزة تتخللها حواف ثانوية أقل تميزًا وتشكل نمطًا شبكيًا صغيرًا.
